Schroeder joined the investment team in acquiring the Company by the summer of 2005, and joined the management team as Chief Executive Officer and President.

Prior to this, Schroeder was a leader in the high-quality interactive content and interactive marketing fields. He was Chief Executive Officer and Publisher of washingtonpost.newsweek interactive, which hosts washingtonpost.com and newsweek.msnbc.com among other sites. Washingtonpost.com is consistently the number one local news and information site and among the top new sites nationally and internationally, with over eight million unique users and 250 million page views each month. WPNI more than tripled in revenue and audience during Schroeder’s tenure. He also was Chief Executive of LEGI-SLATE, a leading online provider of news , analyses and data pertaining to federal and state legislation and regulation for businesses, law firms, government, educational institutions and other organizations. He successfully sold this company in 2000.
