Laurence J. DeFranco, president and co-founder of iMapData, is an expert in the new field of geo-economics that merges the disciplines of economics, geography and computer science. He has written, testified and spoken widely on the effects of economic, regulatory, and legislative policy on businesses-especially in a geographic context. Previously he headed Program Flow, Inc., a computer software, research and consulting firm he founded. Before that, he worked for CBS Inc. as head of the New Technologies Task Force.
