Kevin Reynolds is president of Cardinal Bank and a member of the executive management committee of Cardinal Financial Corporation, a $1.7 billion publicly traded financial services company.  Before helping to establish Cardinal Bank in 1997, Kevin held executive and management positions with several leading area financial institutions, including George Mason Bank, American Security Bank and the National Bank of Washington

 

Kevin has a long and active record of community involvement. His volunteer efforts, business expertise, and hands-on support have contributed to the success of many worthwhile community projects and fundraisers for organizations such as the American Heart Association, the City of Fairfax Renaissance Housing Corporation, Rotary International, and Special Olympics, where he is a certified coach and volunteer.  He is currently the Chairman of the annual Cardinal Bank Charity (Golf and Tennis) Classic.  This event has raised more than $1 million for the Inova Kellar Center, which provides mental health and substance abuse treatment and support for local adolescents and their families. 

 

Additionally, he was the 2005 Chairman of the Fairfax County School Bond Referendum, which raised $249 million to continue the tradition of excellent public schools in Fairfax County.  Kevin serves on the Executive Committee of the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce and is its incoming chairman.  He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the George Mason University School of Management. 

 

A graduate of The College of William and Mary, Kevin also earned an MBA in Finance/Business from The George Washington University.  He lives in Oakton, Virginia with his wife, Stacey, their two children, Brooke and Brandon, and two golden retrievers.
